Mélanie Joly is a Canadian politician and lawyer who has been Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions since May 2025. A member of the Liberal Party, Joly has been the member of Parliament (MP) for Ahuntsic-Cartierville since 2015. She has held a number of portfolios including Canadian heritage, tourism, foreign affairs, and La Francophonie.
